Foot orthoses, also known as insoles, are used in podiatry to compensate for and treat mechanical alterations of the foot that affect proper gait development, aiming to rebalance plantar pressures and facilitate adequate and efficient gait development.
These are made individually and personally for each patient to correct functional and morphological foot abnormalities, helping to prevent and treat various pathologies associated with gait issues.
Foot orthoses can be used for a wide range of problems, the most common being:
- Morphological deformities of the feet such as flat foot, cavus foot, or equinus foot, among others.
- Various painful conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tendinopathies, metatarsalgia, bunions, etc.
At Clínica Navarro, we produce personalized and individualized foot orthoses for each patient, using the most advanced technology and sophisticated materials to ensure success in treatment.
